Abstract:
Objective:To analyze the effects of surgery,radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy for treating lung cancer patients with brain metastasis.Methods:60 lung cancer patients with brain metastasis certified by brain CT and/or MRI,pathology were retrospectively analyzed between January,1999 and December,2005.Results:The median survival time was 12 months for surgery combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy group and 11 month for radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy group,respectively.The 1-year survival rate was 25.0% and 21.8% respectively.The median survival time was 5 months in pure radiotherapy group and 6 months in pure chemotherapy group,The 1-year survival rate was 7.69% in pure radiotherapy group and 0% in pure chemotherapy group.There was statistically significant difference(P
