Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effection of inlay-crown on the massive destruction in deciduous molar.Methods: Forty-nine teeth with massive dental crown defects from thirty-four children were given casting alloy or PFM inlay-crown restorative treatment.The patients were followed up for 1 to 3 years.Results: Of these 49 teeth,only one was broken.Restoration contours of the rest were tight.Exfoliation and secondary caries were not found.Conclusion: This method may not only repair and preserve the decayed tooth,but also maintain the completion of the primary dentition and improve the masticatory function.
