Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effects of hepatocyte growth factor on proliferation and migration of human umbilical vein endothelial cells, and to further study the angiogenesis of HGF.Methods:The cultured endothelial cells in vitro were isolated from human umbilical vein. The proliferation of HUVECs were measered by MTT and their migration were observed using reverse microscope,The changes of celluar ultrastructure were observed under electron microscope and flow cytometry was applied to observe the effects of rhHGF on cell cycle. Results:rhHGF could promote the proliferation and migration of HUVECs dose-dependently and time-dependently.There were obvious changes in celluar structure,rhHGF could increase mitochondrion, rough endoplasmic reticulum and euchromatin. Conclusion:rhHGF could promote the proliferation and migration of HUVECs significantly, which suggests that HGF might have the effect of angiogenesis.
