Abstract:
Objective:To study the clinical significance of determining serum liver specific autoantibodies in HCV patients.Methods:Hep-2 cells, rat liver tissue, rat kidney tissue and rat stomach tissue as substrates forANA,ASMA,AMA and ALKM were detected by indirect immunofluorescence assay in the serum of 67 HCV patients,32 HAV patients,50 patients with other diseases and 30 normal subjects. Results:The positive rate of autoantibodies in HCV patients were 25.4%,and there was significant difference compared with the other 3 groups( P 0.05).Conclusion:HCV infection can induce autoimmune reactions resulting in production of autoantibodies and its titer is helpful for treatment of HCV patients.
