Abstract:
Objective:To establish the parallel bi-vein graft with valves animal model and to seek a new surgical method for patients with deep valvular incompetence. Methods:The parallel bi-vein with valves autogenic graft animal model was established in 12 rabbits by microsurgery and the hemorheology and hemodynamics were examined by real time color-duplex scanning and phlebography. Results:Among all of the 12 rabbits, autogenic graft of the parallel bi-vein with valves animal model was successfully established and was under observation for 4 weeks postoperatively.Only in 1 rabbit it was obstructed after 4 weeks. The rest remained unobstructed and were kept in favorable configuration and steady blood stream with laminar flow. Conclusion:The autogenic graft parallel bi-vein containing valves by microsurgery technique in rabbits is feasible. The opretion may be a feasible and promising method for clinical patients with chronic venous insufficiency in lower limb.
