Abstract:
Objective:To assess the role of the estrogen level per ovum in the clinical pregnancy rate in IVF-ET.Methods:Serum estrogen levels on the day of the HCG(human chorionic gonadotrophin)administration were assayed by EIA(Magnetic Solid Phase).Results:When the estrogen level per ovum was 70~140 pg/ml on the day of HCG administration,the pregnancy rate was the highest.Conclusion:The estrogen-oocyte ratio is a strong index of success pregnancy rate in IVF-ET.
