Abstract:
This article is composed of a comparative study on the curative effects of different interventional therapies for 468 cases with primary liver cancer dividing into three groups: group A with simple chemotherapy, group B with chemotherapy and lipiodol embolization, and group C with chemotherapy, lipiodol and gelform embolization. The effective rates were 20.29%, 41.18% and 44.77% respectively. The survival rates of 1 year and 3 years were 20.53?3.62% and 1.95?2.39% for group A, 51.34?4.36% and 10.11?4.92% for group B, 62.99?3.89% and 13.92?4.65% for group C.; with the mean survival durations of 9.57 months, 16.07 months and 17.93 months. There was a high significant difference between group A and group B.C. The most effective therapy was chemotherapy plus lipiodol and gelform embolization. The embolization method was divided into far, middle and near section three types.
