Abstract:
Epitheloid hepatomic cell lines FSK 7901, FSK 7902 were established in cell culture from male rats with an average body weight 103.03?26.73 g sacrified 131?24.94 days after feeding with 107.1?25.65 mg. of diethylnitrosamine(DEN).The chromosome number of the majority of the cells from FSK 7901, FSK 7902 falls between a range of 63~84 with a mode of 81.The cells are very closely arranged in FSK 7901, but loosely in FSK 7902.The distribution of the smallest basophilic hepatomic cells of FSK 7901 are regularly around or within the new growth area, but in FSK 7902 are irregularly scattered.The acentrically displaced bean-shaped nuclei of moderate or large hepatomic cells with large juxtanuclear acidophilic area are more numerous and distinct in FSK 7901 than in FSK 7902.The growth of FSK 7902 is more rapid than FSK 7901 as judged from the main cell cycle time from population doubling time during lorgarthmic growth of culture and the average of mitotic index.
