Abstract: Analysis of morphologic features of Khua nam bet plant of Laos. Results: the scientific name of this plant has been identified as Uncaria macrophylla Wall. (Rubiaceae). The morphologic features of this plant are a shrub, with stem and branches rises up to 3-5m, brown bark, opposited leaves, flower rises from armpit of leaves with the diameter of 1.5-2cm; small capsule about 2cm with dark-white short soft feathers. This is a popular medicinal plant of Laos and it was newly used in trational experiences: whole plant is small choped, dries up, extracted to treat high fever induced seizure. In addition, Ministry of Health of Laos has approved “khua nam bet” regime in treatmen of hypertension, joint pains, and vertigo
