Abstract:
Objectives: To investigate the value and characteristics of nutritional support in therapy for patients with early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstruction(EPISBO). Methods: The nutritional support was used in the treatment of EPISBO of 35 patietns. TPN was provided through peripheral vein or central vein and was followed by EN or oral diet. Results: Nutritional support decreased the complication of EPISBO and shorten the course. Conclusions: Rational nutritional support therapy is effective and important in the treatment of EPISBO.
