Abstract:
Objective To study the effects of nilestriol taken orally before removing the intrauterine device (IUD) in postmenopausal women.Methods Women in group one took nilestriol 4rag orally once a week before op- eration;women in another group took no medicine.Two groups women were removed IUD by routine operation.Re- suits 100% of the IUD were removed successfully for women in group one,85% of the IUD were removed for women in another group,and there were significant differences (P
