Experimental Study on Effect of SXG on Activity of IL-1 and NK of C57BL/6 Mice with Lewis Lung Cancer of Spontaneous Metastasis.

Abstract:
Objective To study the effect of Shan Xian Granule (SXG) on Lewis lung cancer of spontaneous metastasis, and activity of IL-1 and NK in those mice. Methods 10 mice were selected from the 40 mice of C57BL/6 randomly as blank group (A-group), the rest 30mice were planted by Lweis lung cancer cell and they were divided randomly into Lweis lung cancer control group(B-group),Jinlong capsule group (C-group),and SXG group (D- group).After 24h they were planted,A、B groups mice were given normal saline, C、D groups were give JLC and SXG solution separately. Twenty-one days later, put those mice to death, then measured the time of the tumor coming into being, weight of the transplanted tumor, number of metastasis and the activity of IL-1 and NK. Results the time of the tumor coming into being of SXG group was obviously longer than that of B-group. The weight of transplanted tumor was lighter than that of B-group. The activity of NK and IL-1 was high- er than that of B-group.Conclusions SXG can inhibit the growth and metastasis of tumor. Its mechanism is the enhancement of the activity of NK and IL-1.
