Abstract:
Objective To observe the analgesic effects of intradermal injection on the cervical-shoulder lesion areas caused by herpes zoster. Method The clinical data of 40 patients suffered from herpes zoster (distribution of skin lesion: C2~C4) were retrospective analyzed. All the cases were divided into two groups, the 20 patients in group A received routine therapies (administered by antiviral drugs, vitamins and calamine lotion) and 2ml 0.75% bupivacaine as well by intradermal injection. The other 20 patients in group B received routine therapy only. The curative effect was evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS) and quality of sleep (QS).
