Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the body mass change in overweight and simple obesity patients 1 year after withdrawal of home-made sibutramine preparation.Methods: Seventy-five overweight or simple obesity patients were enrolled in this Ⅱ phase clinical trial of sibutramine,and they were divided into sibutramine group(n=43) and placebo group (n=32). The patients body mass, body fat rate, waist circumference, serum lipid, blood glucose, blood pressure and adverse effects were determined 12,24 and 48 weeks after withdrawal of sibutramine. Results: There were no significant differences in body mass,body mass index, body fat rate and waist circumference between sibutramine group and placebo group 48 weeks after withdrawal of sibutramine.
