Abstract:
The Book of Changes is known as a famous ancient book in China. In the chapter on Copula of this masterpiece the relations among the changes of heaven and earth, movement and stillness, and Qian and Qun have been revealed through adopting "YiXing" and "LiYi", two varieties of schools of Yi (Change). This paper sets out to compare the depiction of Yin and Yang, movement and stillness recorded in the book of the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Medicine with the notions mentioned above. It is also our attempt to discover the same intrinsic principle existed in both Chinese ancient philosophy and Chinese ancient medicine.
