Abstract:
During the development of human early embryo, formation of organ primordium and organogenesis need all kinds of cell morphological transition, including epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET). If the cell transition fails to occur at the right time and in the right lace, a developmental disorder will occur, resulting in congenital malformation in severe cases or recessive maldevelopment in mild cases, easily predisposing to canceration or organ functional disorders. Clarifying the mechanism of cell transition may provide theoretic guidance in prevention of deformity and tumorigenesis.
