Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of temporary hepatic inflow occlusion (HIO) on hepatic energy metabolism of rats with liver cirrhosis. Methods Animal survival rate and hepatic energy metabolism were observed following different periods of HIO with the effect of portal vein blood bypass (PBB) and without PBB, including repiratory controa ratio (RCR), adenosine tirphosphate (ATP), and arterial blood ketone body ratio (AKBR).
