Abstract:
Objective To study the improvement in the surgical technique of vaginal hysterectomy and salpingo-oophorectomy. Methods The LigaSure TM System has been used in vaginal hysterectomy and salpingo-oophorectomy in 582 patients of group one. The result was compared with the 430 patients of group two, for whow the operation was done by the same medical team in our hospital using the traditional technie, in order to evaluate the two techniques.
