Abstract:
Objective: To investagate the antioxidative action of aloe and its dose-effect relationship. Methods:Sprague-Dawley rats were killed and then the livers were removed to isolate the microsome which can generate the reactive oxygen species in the presence of VC and Fe2+ or cumene hydroperoxite(CHP). In these peroxidative damage models, different dosages of aloe extract were added. Then the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) were examined for analyzing the antioxidative action of aloe extract.
