Abstract:
Objective To observe fibrosing-associated indicators in manchurian dutchmanspipe induced tubulo-interstitial nephropathy (GMT-TIN), and try to give a clue to the mechanism of GMT-TIN's unusual fibrosis. Methods Immunohislochemical SP method was applied to detect the expression of CTGF, TGF-?1, ?-SMA, FN and collagen Ⅳ in the renal biopsy specimens of 22 cases of GMT-TIN. Relationships among the above fibrosing-associated indicators and their correlations with the degree of interstitial fibrosis were further analyzed. Results Highly expressed ?-SMA, FN and collagen Ⅳ were detected in the renal interstitium of all the GMT-TIN patients.
