Abstract:
To measure the expression levels of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP 2) and its inhibitor, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2 (TIMP 2), and to evaluate their relationship with the bladder transitional cell carcinoma.RT PCR and immunohistochemistry method were used to measure the levels of MMP 2 and TIMP 2 in 61 cases of bladder transitional cell carcinoma and 23 samples of tissues adjacent to the cancer.
