To observe the protective effect of somatostatin (SS) on gastric mucosa of rats.Methods: Before gastric mucosal lesion were made in rats by pure alcohol, SS was intravenously droppedand anti-SS serum was injected into the vein, and the change of ulcer index and the degree of gastric mu-cosal lesion were observed.
