Isolation and Identification of Chemical Constituents in the Fruit Peels of Sinocitrus chuana Hort

Abstract: Chemical constituents in the mature fruit peels of Sinocitrus chuana Hort were studied systematically. Five compounds were isolated and identified. They were hesperidin( Ⅰ), nobiletin(Ⅱ) tengeretin(Ⅲ), 4', 5, 7, 8-tetramethoxyflovones(Ⅳ) and synephrine(Ⅴ). Of them the fourth was isolated from this genus for the first time.
