Abstract:
Basing on the previous report, experiments proved that chlorpro-mazine decresed DOPA formation in superior cervical ganglion ( SCG ) for 50%, and formation from PDB for 60%. The work ruled out the possibilities of decrease of DOPA synthesis from the effect on N-or M-cholinergic receptor or from the influence on DOPA decarboxylase activity. So the decrease of DOPA formation was due to inhibition of protein kinase C blocking phosphorylation of tyrosine hydroxylase.
