Abstract:
A leetin from ripe tomato fruit was extracted with neutral solution, precipitated with ammonium sulfate, and purified by chitin affinity chromatography followed by CM-cellulose ion exchange chromatography.Its chemical properties and c:ll agglutination were studied.
