Abstract:
The DNA contents of 39 surgically resected specimens of different histopa-thological kinds and types of human lung cancer were determined with microspec-trophotometer. Among them, 3, 6, and 5 cases were diagnosed as well, moderately and poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma; 3,5, and 5 as well, moderately and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma; and 3 and 6 cases as large and small cell types of undifferentiated carcinoma respectively.It was found that the DNA contents of different histopathological kinds and types of lung cancers were significantly different(P
