A Study of Polymerized Human Serum Albumin Receptor in the Serum of Patients with Severe Hepatitis B

Abstract:
The sera from 33 patients with severe hepatitis B (SH) ( 8 subacute and 25 chronic cases), 13 patients with acute hepatitis (AH), 23 patients with chronic active hepatitis B (CAH), 10 HBsAg asymptomatic carriers (ASC), and 28 normal persons were tested with RIA to detect the polymerized human serum albumin receptor (PHSA-Re). Some related parameters of HBV were tested simultaneously in order to have a comparison.There was no significant difference of the positive rate of PHSA-Re between the patients with SH and those with AH, CAH, or ASC. But the difference of positive P/N ratio between SH patients and those with CAH(P
