Abstract:
147 patients under 7 years of age with maluntrition, anorexia, dysplasia, hypophrenosis and repeated attacks of cold were studied. The treated group consisted of 100 cases, and the control group 47 cases. Zinc and copper content of the hair was determined. The administration of the complex trace element mixture was found to be effective in improving appetite and sleep, promoting physical and mental development, correcting nutritional anemia, and bettering the athletic acility and immune functions of the patients in the treated group.
