Abstract:
The amino acid composition of a few "Nourishing jellies" ((?)(?)) had been investigated with two-dimensional paper chromatography. The results show that the acid hydrolysates of these commercial jellies are not different qualitatively in amino acid composition from that of gelatin. There are slight quantitative differences in the individual amino acids.
