Abstract:
Background and purpose:Serum amyloid A(SAA) is usually considered as one of the main inflammatory reactants.Yet,recent studies have revealed that SAA is involved in the genesis and development of tumors. This research was aimed to study the effect and mechanism of all murine SAA family members in tumor metastasis. Methods:Murine SAA1-GST,SAA2-GST,SAA3-GST,SAA4-GST fusion proteins and the GST protein were first expressed and purified.Migration assay of LLC cells,Ba/mTLR4/mMD2 cells and control Ba/?B cells, all treated by the 4 GST fusion proteins in vitro, were then used to study the effect and mechanism of 4 fusion proteins in tumor migration. Results:Murine SAA1-GST,SAA2-GST,SAA3-GST,SAA4-GST fusion proteins and the GST protein were all expressed and purified successfully. The murine 4 GST fusion proteins, but not GST,significantly induced migration of LLC cells in vitro(P0.05).Murine 4 GST fusion proteins, but not GST,also significantly induced the migration of Ba/mTLR4/mMD2 cells(their effects were 1.6 to 2.1 times as much as control) but not the control Ba/?B cells in vitro(P
