Abstract:
This report is intended to study the changes of TxB2 and 6-keto-PGF1 ?(the stable metabolites of TxA2 and PGI2) in rabbits suffering from experimental decompression sickness (DCS).The prophylactic effect of indomethacin on acute DCS was also investigated. It was found that there was a relationship between Doppler ultrasonic signals and severity of DCS, and that in rabbits which were dying of DCS, TxB2 and 6-keto-PGF1? levels were higher than those of pre-compression controls (P
