Abstract:
Objective To understand the change of leptin level in human in acute hypoxia state. Methods 34 male mountaineers were examined, 7 at the altitude of 2 800 m, 27 at 5 050 m. The serum leptin level and anoxic degree were determined by radioimmunoassay and arterial oxygen saturation were determined by Tuffsat arterial oxygen saturation monitor.
