Abstract:
Standardization of laboratory examination of thyroid gland reduces the occurrence of mis-and neglecting diagnosis of thyroid diseases, while standardization of management of thyroid diseases contributes to achieving ideal outcome and to avoiding side-effects and excessive treatment.
