Abstract:
Objective To study the relationship of lung function and the diaphragmatic nerve electrophysiological changes in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods The phrenic nerve motor conduction(PNC),diaphragmatic motor evoked potentials(dMEP)and diaphragmatic compound muscle action potentials(dCMAP)were detected in 50 COPD patients and 50 healthy controls aged 60 years and over,respectively.
