Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the bridging role of non-bioartificial liver for patients with chronic severe hepatitis B awaiting liver transplantation. Methods The non-bioartificial liver support was used to treat 9 hepatitis B patients with advanced stage liver failure waiting for liver donor in order to correct physiological disturbances and bridge to orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT).
