Abstract:
Objective To investigate the immune privilege of cotransplanted parathyroid cells induced by testicular Sertoli cells expressing Fas ligand (FasL).Methods Different testicular Sertoli cells and allogeneic parathyroid cells were cotransplanted respectively. Allografts survival,cells component and the apoptosis of infiltrative lymphocytes in vitro were analyzed.Results The parathyroid cells transplanted alone were all rejected with the mean survival time of ( 17.22 ? 3.63 ) days. When parathyroid cells were cotransplanted with testicular Sertoli cells,survival time of allografts was prolonged.
