Abstract:
Objective To study the immediate effects of smoking on blood pressure(BP),heart rate and ECG.Meth ods Let the subjects smoke one cigarette within3minutes,the BP,heart rate and ECG of the subjects was tak en every minute after smoking and the base value of these indices was taken before smoking.Results The BP of144cases(in146cases)were increased with an average increasing value of systolic blood pressure12.39?1.26mmHg and diastolic pressure7.95?0.96mmHg (P
