Abstract:
Objective To observe the efficacy of CTLA-4Ig gene local transfection on the survival of renal allografts. Methods The kidneys of BN rats were transfected with CTLA-4Ig gene-recombined adenovirus. The transfected kidneys were transplanted to Lewis rats (transfection group). BN→Lewis kidney transplantation with non-transplanted kidneys served as controls. The allograft survival time and the allograft function between the two groups were compared.
