Abstract:
Using PCR on 73 serum samples with HBsAg(-) having health checkes (21 samples) and donating blood (25 samples). We have found one case of DNA HBV(+). This number is small but it can demonstrate the value of PCR, a tool contributing to enhance the safety of blood transfusion.
