Abstract:
ObjectiveTo study the age-dependent alternations in ?-adrenergic responsiveness and the G proteins in human detrusor of urinary bladder.MethodsThe responsiveness to ?-adrenergic agonists isoprenaline and BRL37344,Forskolin and dibutyryl cyclic AMP(DBcAMP) of detrusor samples from 10 cases of senile people were examined by cellular functional test, and the influence of pertussis toxin and cholera toxin on ?-adrenergic agonists function was also studied, radioligand binding assay was performed using non-selective ?-adrenergic receptors ligand - dihydroalprenolol, the detrusor specimens of 7 young men served as controls.ResultsIn aging detrusor, there was no age-dependent change in the contractile response to KCl while the relaxing responses to isoprenaline,BRL37344 and Forskolin decreased by 15.0%,17.6% and 12.6% respectively(P
