Multiple cancer complicated with portal cancer embolization were confirmed which were the contraindication for surgery and TAIE. Gemcitabine was used intravenously infusion for 30 min with a dose of 100 mg/m 2 at day 1,8,15. Cisplatin was used infused intravenously with a dose of 50 mg/m 2 at day 2,3,4. Twenty eight days were counted as one cycle. After 2 cycles of the treatment the efficacy and clinical symptoms were evaluated. Results:Of the 8 patients, 7 were evaluable for treatment outcome. Three obtained PR (42.9%) 3 NR (42.9%). The symptoms related to liver cancer improved after 1-2 cycles of treatment. These improvement could be observed in 57 1% (4/7) for 1 cycle and 85.7% (6/7) for 2 cycles.
