Intralesional triamcinolone-A for tre atment of cavernous hemangioma

Abstract:
112 child cases with cavernous hemangi- oma of the ocular adnexa were treated with intralesional triamcinolone-A and followed up from 6 months to over 6 years.In 110 eases(98.2%),complete resolution was achieved and improvement in the remaining 2 cases,the total effective rate being 100%. In 2 cases(1.78%)relapse occurred,which was reversed by repetition of the therapy.
