Abstract:
Objective To investigate the relationship between HLA DRB1 gene polymorphism and susceptibility to leukopenia in patients with Graves′ disease (GD). Methods The HLA DRB1 alleles were typed by the polymerase chain reaction based sequence specific primer (PCR SSP) method in 45 GD patients with leukopenia, 50 GD patients without leukopenia and 90 normal controls.
