Abstract:
A tolal of 104 rats were at random divided into three groups: the control, light-injured (group 1) and serious-injured (group Ⅱ), with investigating the impact of various traumatic injuries on immunoreactive ?-endophin (ir-?-Ep). The results showed that there was a marked rise for ir-?- Ep in the rats plasma at half an hour of trauma, then reached the peak value at 2h postinjury. The ir-?- Ep concentration in group Ⅱ was significantly higher than group Ⅰ. and the time returned to mormal was 3rd day and 7th day respectively. It is illustrated that both of the increased ir-?-Ep concentration and the time backed to mormal are related to traumatic severity, and therefore, the determination of the changes of ir-?-Ep level in the plasma is beneficial to the judgement of traumatic picture.
