Abstract:
Synergic berberine capsule contains berberine hydro chloride and trimethoprim (TMP). Berberine hydrochloride was directly determined at 349. 6nm wavelength by using ultra-violet spectrophotometry without separation. trimethoprim was determined by using three-wavelength spectrophotometry, respectively. This method is with simplicity, rapidity and high recovery. Its results are basically the same as that of the method used by Shaanxi Provincial Pharmacopiea.
