Abstract:
Of forty patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, erythrocyte 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) concentration in seven patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia was much lower than that in these diabetics with normotri-glyceridemia and moderate hypertriglyceridemia.
