Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the protection effects of different dosage of reduced glutathione on liver function in acute myeloid leukemia(AML) patients undergoing chemotherapy.METHODS:In prospective study,72 AML patients were divided into group A and group B according to the dosage of reduced glutathione.Reduced glutathione were given to group A(1.2 g?d-1) and group B(2.4 g?d-1) 2 days before chemotherapy.Liver functions of patients were rechecked 1 week after chemotherapy.Another 2 weeks of treatment was given to patients with liver function disorder.RESULTS:1 week or 2 weeks after chemotherapy the incidence of liver function impairment in group B was decreased significantly,compared with group A(P
