Abstract:
OBJECTIVE Analyzing the psychological performance of patients with presbycusis before and after fitting hearing aids.METHODS Analyzing the psychological performance of the patients in different levels by using the oral negotiation and the modified self-symptoms inventory(symptom check-list-90, SCL-90), including the cognition condition of the senile patients after fitting hearing aids.RESULTS 126 presbycusis patients performed in 4 psychological ways including ignorance, worry, depression and autism tendency.The presbycusis patients had cognition deviation after fitting hearing aids.It showed that they were hoping for quick success, having high expectations and antipathy to the hearing aids.CONCLUSION Fully understanding the gerontal patients' abnormal psychological performances and cognition deviations to the hearing aids can help us to enhance the early intervention and hearing rehabilitation.
