Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the characteristics and regularities of adverse drug reactions(ADR)occurring in our hospital.METHODS:A total of 1 451 ADR cases collected by ADR monitoring center in 2007 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients' age, routes of administration, drug category,ADR-involved organs or systems and clinical manifestations etc.RESULTS:Of the 1 451 ADR cases,72.16% of the ADR-inducing drugs were administered by intravenous drip, and most were associated with anti-infective drugs, predominantly penicillins, cephalosporins and quinolones. The ADR manifested predominantly as lesions of skin and its appendants.CONCLUSION:Rational drug use and ADR monitoring should be strengthened to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR.
