Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the dermination of pirmenol hydrochloride in pirmenol hydrochloride capsules.METHODS:The content of pirmenol hydrochloride was determinated by UV spectrophotometry according to Chinese Pharmacopeia(Edition 2005)with detective wavelength set at 260 nm.RESULTS:There was a good linear relationship for pirmenol hydrochloride in the range of 3.0～36 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9).The average recovery was 99.58%(RSD= 0.41%).CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,accurate,reliable and applicable for the determination of pirmenol hydrochloride capsules.
